Welcome to our page and thank you for checking out the War Studies Group. We are a group of scholars, students, and folks with a passion for history. We meet on the first Tuesday of the month to hear presentations, watch videos, and discuss on topics related to military history. War is a part of our history and the study of it and peace are important subjects for debate within the discipline of history. Among our existing members, we have experts in Early Modern European war, diplomacy, and international relations, the American Civil War, Revolutionary War, and the Cold War.
We welcome any person with an interest in the subject of military history to come to our meetings and engage in the discussions. Even if you are not well-versed in history, that is no problem as we welcome young and old and various educational backgrounds. We are both a social and educational group, as we have fun while spreading knowledge.
